BY SONIA COLIN
Professional journalist, Sonia Colin, has been recognized in the mass communications media in Mexico and the United States of America. In her new book, ¡Sí, Se Pudo! (We Did It!) she reminds us of the importance of the Hispanic vote in the USA. As the Latin representative to George W. Bush's presidential campaign, Sonia convinced the president to speak in Spanish to the mass media. This action defined the votes of a great majority of Hispanics in North America, and it will define the upcoming presidential elections for the Hispanic population.

I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that Sonia Colín was the bridge between candidate Bush and the U.S. Spanish speaking Latinos.
Jorge Ramos, Univisión. Ola Latina,
published by Harper Collins
Without Sonia's efforts and professionalism, it would have been very difficult to coordinate all the details required to carry out our task. She was always aware of our needs and, with patience and good humor, was able to meet all our exacting conditions.
Don Francisco, Univisión
Bush, despite being a Republican, captured an important amount of Hispanic votes. I believe he owes many of these votes to Sonia Colín.

newspaper, Reforma
